The move to NYC influenced the rest of his career, as Dee spent most of his time working in writing and publishing as a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine andsenior editor of The Paris Review, as well as a National Magazine Award nominated literary critic for Harper’s. ![]() Dee writes mostly fiction and he has been very successful doing so. During his years at Yale, Dee studied fiction writing and learned from some of the best fiction-writing practitioners.
